Looking for a boss reward? The Resonants reward table maps currently reported bosses to zones and Combat Abilities. Four named encounters have individual profiles: The Artist in Downtown, The Dancer in West Incursion Zone, The Collective in The Park, and The Physicist in The Underpass. These names and locations are reported in the September 23 Epic Games Store guide.
The profiles contain encounter and reward spoilers. They help you decide which ability to pursue or pick after a fight. The Collective profile also records a Gamescom demo sequence with its build status stated. Exact map entrances, a complete boss roster and launch-patch tactics remain unverified.
What should I read first?
If you know the ability name, start with the Combat Abilities table to find its source. If you know the zone, use the Resonants table. If the route is blocked by movement, check Traversal Abilities: Fault powers and Resonant rewards are separate progression systems. Reward decisions and repeat runs
The first run does not grant every reward choice. Choose for the problem your current loadout needs to solve, then review the respec guide before spending a reset material. Remedy says New Game Plus can add other Combat Abilities from the same boss; some rematches may also behave differently. That makes each profile's reward comparison useful now, while its combat tactics still need release-build testing.
Boss fixes in 1.4.0
Artist special-attack frame drops, Deserter music after backtracking, and Collective tentacles surviving a One-Hit Kills Assist Mode victory are Fixed in 1.4.0. Co-Director Perfect Dodge triggering is corrected for most attacks; Hedron phase-one arena size is adjusted. The notes do not provide new dodge timings or arena measurements. October 2, 2026 update: Remedy's released 1.4.0 notes confirm these changes. See the boss-fix table for details.
