The Aberrant is Dylan Faden's shape-changing melee weapon. Its regular attacks restore the resource for Combat Abilities. These are descriptions, not proven best-in-slot picks. Two forms can be paired with a separately selected combo finisher. Epic says there are six finishers, but names only Concussive Beatdown and Split Orbit; Living Shards unlock maneuvers. The detailed page explains how to use those facts without mistaking older preview names such as Hammer, Blades or Scythe for an additional confirmed menu roster.
How weapon choice affects a build
Choose a primary for your frequent safe attack, a secondary for a different range or target shape, and a finisher for the end of the sequence. Then check whether that setup generates enough ability resource for the Resonant reward you chose. Remedy's combat explanation connects melee hits, ability use, stuns and executions into one loop. A form's value depends on the complete cycle and the encounter, not a trailer image or isolated critical hit.
